WEBSITE TERMS

Your Experience, Our Experience

Version 1 · Prepared July 2026

00 · A REFINED DIGITAL WELCOME

These Website Terms govern access to and use of The Munro Collection website. They protect the site, its content, and its inquiry tools. They do not replace the affirmative Client Terms and Booking Conditions acceptance required before TMC begins paid planning work or books travel.

Your Experience, Our Experience

01 · USING THE WEBSITE

1. Operator and contact

This website is operated by The Munro Collection (“TMC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Business location: Airdrie, Alberta, Canada. Email: concierge@themunrocollection.ca. Telephone: 403-369-4411. Complete mailing address: 105 Railway Ave, Airdrie, AB, Canada

2. Acceptance of these Website Terms

By accessing or using the website, you agree to these Website Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the website. These Website Terms apply only to website access and use.

Submitting an inquiry does not require you to purchase a service and does not itself form a travel-planning or booking agreement. A paid TMC planning engagement requires the separate Client Terms and Booking Conditions, selected scope, price and currency disclosures, and an affirmative acceptance control before payment.

3. Eligibility and international access

You must have legal capacity to use transactional website features. A parent, guardian, or authorized adult must act for a minor. If you access the website outside Canada, you are responsible for complying with local laws that apply to your access, but your mandatory rights are not waived.

The website may be available internationally, but availability does not mean TMC offers every service, destination, Supplier, or payment method in every jurisdiction.

4. Changes, availability and suspension

TMC may improve, correct, restrict, suspend, or discontinue any public page, feature, collection, or inquiry path. We may also update these Website Terms prospectively by publishing a revised effective date. A website update does not retroactively change a separately accepted planning or booking agreement.

02 · CONTENT AND PRICING

5. Website content

Destination descriptions, editorial features, photographs, videos, itineraries, collections, hotel or experience references, recommendations, and other website content are provided for general inspiration and information. They are not a booking confirmation, availability guarantee, professional legal or medical advice, or a promise that an experience is suitable for every Traveller.

TMC uses reasonable care in preparing website content but travel information changes. Verify critical health, safety, entry, schedule, accessibility, and Supplier information through the official source and the booking-specific documents provided for the journey.

6. Prices, currencies and availability

Unless a page expressly states otherwise, TMC planning-package fees and international pricing are displayed in United States Dollars (USD). CAD may be offered on request. A dollar sign without a currency label should not be relied upon. The controlling invoice or proposal will identify the exact currency.

Public prices may be starting prices or examples. Taxes, fees, exchange rates, availability, seasonality, party size, complexity, Supplier restrictions, and requested scope may change the final amount. No displayed travel product is held or confirmed until the responsible Supplier accepts it and a written confirmation is issued.

TMC may correct an obvious typographical, technical, currency, pricing, or availability error before a contract is formed. If an error is found after acceptance, TMC will address it in accordance with the accepted agreement and applicable law rather than silently changing the record.

7. Third-party brands and references

References to a hotel, airline, resort, destination, Supplier, trade mark, award, rating, or third-party service do not imply ownership, endorsement, partnership, guaranteed access, or a particular service level unless TMC expressly confirms the relationship in writing. Third-party marks remain the property of their owners.

03 · INQUIRIES AND ACCEPTABLE USE

8. Inquiry submissions

When you submit information, you confirm that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge, that you are authorized to provide it, and that it may be handled as described in the Privacy Policy. Do not submit full card details, card images, security codes, banking credentials, passwords, or unnecessary passport, identity, health, or accessibility documents through a general website field.

An inquiry is subject to review.

TMC may decline a request that is unlawful, unsafe, abusive, fraudulent, outside scope, inconsistent with Supplier requirements, or unsupported by the stated budget or timing. TMC may ask for clarification before deciding whether to offer an engagement.

9. Permitted use

You may browse the public website and use its inquiry tools for lawful personal or business travel-planning purposes. You may make a reasonable personal copy of public information for evaluating TMC services, provided all ownership notices remain intact.

10. Prohibited use

  • interfere with security, authentication, access controls, availability, or operation of the website;

  • introduce malware, harmful code, automated abuse, scraping that burdens the service, or attempts to access non-public areas;

  • impersonate another person, submit false or misleading information, or use another person’s information without authority;

  • copy, republish, sell, frame, mirror, train a competing system on, or commercially exploit TMC content without written permission;

  • use the website or content for unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, harassing, discriminatory, infringing, or harmful activity; or

  • attempt to bypass a payment, acceptance, Supplier, security, privacy, or booking control.

11. Submitted feedback and content

You retain ownership of original content you submit. You grant TMC a non-exclusive permission to use, reproduce, and share it only as reasonably necessary to respond, provide the requested service, administer the relationship, protect the parties, and comply with law. TMC will not use a client testimonial, identifiable journey story, photograph, or likeness for public marketing without separate permission where required.

04 · OWNERSHIP, LINKS AND PRIVACY

12. TMC intellectual property

The website design, selection and arrangement, text, original photography or graphics, logos, monograms, brand line, collection names, itinerary concepts, documents, and other original TMC content are owned by or licensed to TMC and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. “The Munro Collection” and “Your Experience, Our Experience” may be used only as authorized by TMC.

No right or licence is granted except the limited website use expressly described in these Website Terms. Requests for media, partnership, republication, or brand use should be sent to concierge@themunrocollection.ca.

13. Third-party links and embedded services

The website may link to or embed maps, social media, booking tools, payment services, Supplier sites, or other third-party content. Those services are independently operated and may have different terms, privacy practices, accessibility, availability, and security.

TMC does not control them and is not responsible for their independent content or operation, subject to rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

14. Privacy and cookies

TMC’s separate Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled. The active cookie banner or settings panel governs available cookie choices. Marketing consent is optional and is not a condition of submitting an inquiry or purchasing planning services.

05 · DISCLAIMERS AND LEGAL TERMS

15. Website availability and disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the public website and general content are provided on an “as available” basis. TMC does not guarantee uninterrupted access, freedom from every technical error, the continuing availability of a page or link, or that general content will meet every user’s purpose.

Nothing in these Website Terms limits a representation, warranty, condition, remedy, consumer protection, privacy right, or other obligation that applicable law says cannot be excluded or waived.

16. Limitation for website use

Subject to mandatory law, TMC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, exemplary, or consequential loss arising only from use of or inability to use the public website or reliance on general, unconfirmed content. Booking-specific rights and liabilities are governed by the separately accepted Client Terms, proposal, Supplier documents, and applicable law.

17. Responsibility for misuse

To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for direct loss reasonably caused by your unlawful or unauthorized misuse of the website, infringement of TMC rights, or knowing submission of information you had no authority to provide. This clause does not create liability that applicable law prohibits.

18. Governing law and disputes

These Website Terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the applicable federal laws of Canada. The courts of Alberta will have jurisdiction over a dispute concerning website use, subject to any mandatory consumer right, privacy jurisdiction, or forum that applies and cannot be waived.

Contact concierge@themunrocollection.ca first with a website concern, describing the page, date, device or browser, issue, and requested resolution so TMC can investigate.

19. Severability and entire website agreement

If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, it will be limited or severed only to the extent necessary, and the rest will continue. These Website Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement about public website use; they do not replace a separately accepted planning, payment, authorization, or Supplier agreement.
